I would like to report that unfortunately we were unable to hold the 11o’clock\flag salute contest for this year. The reason being is that I could not get enough judges for the contest. We currently have six certified ritual judges here in Ct. Four of which would not be able to judge, either because they wanted to compete, host, or for other reasons. I tried through my contacts to get judges from other Area 1 states but I was unable to get any commitments.

After the G. L. Convention I will be getting in touch with our new Area 1 chairman from Maine and start working with him to get judges for a contest for next year. Also as a possible alternative I will see if we can maybe join Mass. when they hold theirs.
To run the contest properly I need a minimum of seven judges, 3 floor, 2 word, and 2 computer room. Sorry for any inconvenience, but without enough judges it can not be run fairly.
