The Connecticut Elks PER Association Lodge Trail Passport program is in its 3rd year. This program helps fund our charitable donations and annual scholarship, as well as supporting local lodges by encouraging visits from Elks throughout the state.

At the January 2025 Mid-year convention, approximately 50 Passports were distributed to each of the District Vice Presidents to be made available to their local Lodges.

The passport is $10 and can be paid for via “Square” and picked up at a local Lodge by showing your receipt to them. Please verify that the Lodge you wish to pick it up from has them on hand. Each time the passport holder visits a lodge, they will get a signature from an officer or the server at that lodge.

Once the passport holder has visited all 30 lodges in the state, they will submit the completed passport to their Lodge point of contact or their District PER Vice President.

They will forward your name, along with your completed passport to Fundraising Chair, Louise Maynard by May, and she will attach the commemorative pin, which will be awarded at the Annual CEA Convention Awards ceremony on Friday night, and you will be welcomed as an honorary Connecticut Elks Ambassador. If you are unable to attend, you can designate someone else to receive the pin on your behalf.

There are several goals of this program. One is to build camaraderie among Elks members by visiting other lodges. A second goal is to spread great ideas for programs, dinners, and activities across the state. Elks from outside the state are also welcome to participate.

REMINDER – please turn in your completed passports to your Lodge contact or PER Association District VP and give your name to Louise Maynard so that you will be presented your Ambassador Pin at the State Convention.  The pins will be awarded in person during the Friday night award ceremony.  If you are unable to attend, you can designate someone else to receive the pin on your behalf.
