Good Afternoon All
Attached is the proposed revision of the Constitution of the CT Elks Past Exalted Ruler’s Association.
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with it’s content as it will be presented to be voted upon at the Annual Meeting, September 18, 2022 at the Southington Lodge #1669 at noon.
The meeting agenda will be emailed in early September.
The Association’s goal is to elevate the mentorship, guidance and relevance provided within the entire Elk community.
To that end, we will provide workshops and round table discussions at our meetings vs. limiting it to a meal, Flag Retirement and the business meeting. We hope to expand our presence at other State Meetings and Events as well.
By encouraging an active PER Association on the Lodge Level, you will be instrumental in reaching our goals. Attached is an application, which can also be found on the website. Prior meeting minutes are on the site as well. Please consider bringing a new PER to the meeting for the installation ceremony.
In September, we are asking that you bring suggestions for workshops, ideas for a PER Association fundraising event, a PER Family Day, as well as the name of a Charity you wish us to support. We want to enhance our impact within the State by diversifying our charitable donations.
Suggestions for a day and time for the quarterly meetings are also welcomed. Perhaps an evening meeting would have less conflicts than on the weekend.
We look forward to seeing you in September,
Fraternally Yours,
Seth Miller, PDD
President, CEA Past Exalted Ruler’s Association
