The Elks is the largest private funder of scholarships in the nation through its Most Valuable Student competition held each Fall.

2027 Legacy Awards Scholarship
Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships available to children and grandchildren of Elks members.
The 2027 contest opens September 1. Applications are accepted until February 1, 2027.
The MVS scholarship is open to high school seniors who are U.S. citizens. The 500 four-year scholarships are awarded based on academics, service, leadership and financial need.
The 2027 application closes on November 12, 2026.
