2021 Holiday Classic Report

The 2021 Holiday Season opened up again with the CEA holding the Special Olympic Volleyball event. This was another great event held at the Hamden Hall Beckerman Athletic Center in Hamden, Ct. The event was held for only one day (Sat. Nov. 20th). Many teams in the state could not make the games because of the Virus. Everything went along as planned. We had an exciting opening ceremony with the competing teams joining in.

There were 8 Volleyball teams (105 players and coaches) that competed with each other over the event. The teams were all from Conn. We had 51 Elk Volunteers for the day officiating the games. The Special Olympics of Conn. thanked us again for holding their event. We are all looking forward to next year and holding a full event for the weekend. (without the Virus).
