On April 6, 2025 Willimantic Lodge #1311 initiated 24 Charter members for the start of their Antlers Program. On May 4th several of those Charter Members will be sworn in as Officers of the Antlers Program.
Attending the initiation were several Grand Lodge & State Association Officers.
Connecticut Elks Association State President Michael Johnson SP, PDD, and his lovely wife Denise Johnson, PER of Southington Lodge #1669, along with Vice President-East District Phil Stender Sr. SVP, PDD of Manchester Lodge #1893 attended the event.
Grand Lodge Officers in attendance where District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler-East District Thomas White of Willimantic Lodge #1311, along with Michael Stewart Region 6 Director of the Elks National Foundation Hoop Shoot Contest, PSP, PDD of Putnam Lodge #574, Terence Ford Grand Lodge Activities Committee member Area 1, PSP, PDD of Naugatuck Lodge #967, Donna Wallace Grand Lodge Auding and Accounting Committee Member representing Area 1, PSP, PDD.
