Final tally numbers have come in from the plunge, and you guys did an over the top incredible job. The overall plunge raised just over $140,000, with $65,072 of that coming from the Elks.

Here’s the breakdown of what you raised as well as the rest of your fundraising and sponsorship funding throughout the year.
$28,422 – super plungers
$32,350- all lodge plunge (includes a $2,000 check from Westbrook lodge paper penguin sales)
$4,300- supper/raffle

Total $65,072

Plus    $26,000- migration
$37,000- Over the Edge
$100,000- sponsorship

Grand Total $228,072+

Plus proceeds that will come in from paper penguin’s sales of other lodges. This has historically ranged from $2,500-4,500. So definitely over $230,000!

This is just beyond incredible, and a testament to your focus on promoting participation. I am so grateful for all you do to work with all of your members in helping support our Special Olympics Committee and enhance the partnership with them.

Every District was represented and over 50 members took part in the Lodge Plunge event. The festive atmosphere of the day truly made it a place to be.  Please share this wonderful news with your District Lodges and continue to drive home the point that this really matters and how it’s begun to grow exponentially.
