Our delegation of Connecticut Elks joined thousands of Members and their guests from all over the country at the Opening Ceremony of the 158th Grand Lodge Session.
Connecticut Elks Association Kathleen Ackerman PDD proudly carried the flag of Connecticut into the auditorium to the cheers of everyone. President Ackerman said ‘It was an awesome experience to be waving the Connecticut flag as I walked across the floor as your State President. I am so honored and humbled at the same time. Love our Association.’
It has been 19 years since Minneapolis last hosted an Elks convention.
