PROPOSED BYLAW CHANGES FOR 2022 STATE CONVENTION
April 7, 2022
Dear Exalted Rulers and Secretaries,
Attached are the proposed changes to the Connecticut Elks Association Charities By-Laws prepared by the ad-hoc Committee formed by State President Ronald Michael Stewart and composed by PSP’s Michael Bonini, James Sabio and William Chinn with Ronald Michael Stewart, who was also in attendance at the meetings and contributed.
The committee attempted to include the relevant provisions from both corporation’s By-Laws into a comprehensive new document. This necessitated a complete reordering of the Articles from both sets of By-Laws.
There are two files attached – one named “CEAC additions deletions version” which are the changes from the current version. The other named “June 2022 CEAC By Laws” will be the new By-Laws if approved. Both files will also be available on the state website.
Please copy and distribute to your officers and members.
It will be voted on at the Annual Convention on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Sturbridge Host Hotel, Sturbridge, MA.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I will see you all at the Convention.
Fraternally,
Lisa Morissette, PER
CEAC State Secretary
