Fall Meeting to be held in Milford

A meeting of the Connecticut Elks PER Association will be held on Sunday September 12 at Milford Lodge #1589.  The agenda for this meeting is as follows; 12:00noon – Lunch, 1:00pm - Flag Retirement Ceremony, 1:30pm – PER Association Meeting.

 

Not sure if you're PER Association Dues are up to date.  Check the label on the upcoming mailing, if no number is indicated a dues payment is required.  Annual PER Association dues are $10 and membership is open to all Past Exalted Rulers.

Connecticut Elks Association Past Exalted Rulers Association Meeting

The Connecticut Past Exalted Rulers Association held it’s meeting on September 14, 2008 at Willimantic Lodge #1311.  Approximately 27 Past Exalted Rulers from around the state attended the meeting that was run by outgoing President Robert Brown. 

Lunch was provided by Willimantic Lodge’s Exalted Ruler Patrick Christadore, House Committee member Ronald Coleman, and Past Exalted Ruler Alex Coriaty.

A flag burning ceremony followed lunch that was attended by members of the local Willimantic Fire Department and the local Willimantic Boys Scouts Troop. 

The officers of the PER Association initiated three new Past Exalted Rulers into the association.

A new slate of officers were nominated and elected for the 2008-2009 year. 

Two Emeritus Awards were presented to the Connecticut Elks Association Special Olympics Chairman Frank De Fazio, PER and Connecticut Elks Association Public Relations Chairperson Donna Wallace, PER.

A reminder to be an active member of the Connecticut Elks Past Exalted Rulers Association you must be a paid up member in good standing.  Dues consist of $10.00 for the year. Checks can be made payable to CT Elks PER Association and mailed to Secretary Brian Skonieczny at 34 Rivercrest Drive, Plantsvile, CT 06479.

 

Connecticut Elks Association Past Exalted Rulers Voting Privileges

Remember that every PER in your Lodge who is a member in good standing of the Connecticut Elks Past Exalted Rulers Association has a vote at the Annual State Convention. A member in good standing is one who has paid their dues for the current Lodge year and one who can produce a valid CT Elks PER Association membership card, which is also required to vote at the Annual State Convention.

Past Exalted Rulers who are not members in good standing with the Connecticut Elks Past Exalted Rulers Association will not be permitted to vote at the State Convention. 

Past Exalted Rulers wishing to have a vote at the Annual State Convention will in advance have to pay their dues of $10.00.  Checks can be made payable to CT Elks PER Association and mailed to Secretary Brian Skonieczny at 34 Rivercrest Drive, Plantsvile, CT 06479.
